All India Bar Examination

The All India Bar Examination, or AIBE, is a certification exam that is taken by law students after completion of a 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB degree. Those who qualify in the exam are issued the Certificate of Practice (COP), which is mandatory to practice in a court of law in India. To apply for the exam, the minimum eligibility criteria is a 3- or 5-year LLB graduation. The candidate also must be registered with their respective bar councils. AIBE exam includes multiple-choice questions from common law subjects. This page developed by LEGAL AID TRUST contains questions from the previous AIBE examinations.
